Martina Solej currently works as a commercial lingerie photographer, web/advertisement designer in NYC.
She immigrated to the Unites States from the former Czechoslovakia in 1988 with her family. Her interest in photography, especially portraits of women is a reaction to and a documentation of idealized versions of women themselves and the subtle / obvious influence of the environment, media, and sexuality.
